Senior Class Trip

The Class of 2027 sponsors, Carrie Chao & Steve Atkins, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing team of faculty and parent volunteers who helped make the senior trip such a great success!

We are so incredibly thankful for each of them!  Before we even had a chance to explain what needed to be done, they were already stepping in to help and making sure everything ran smoothly.

A special thank-you also goes to Mr. Martin Bradfield, our AU bus driver, who has been taking Andrews Academy students on various class trips for the past two decades. He is so much more than just our bus driver! Whenever he saw something that needed to be done, he was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Your willingness to serve, your positive attitudes, and your readiness to help wherever needed made this trip a wonderful experience for our seniors. We are truly grateful for each of you!  Class of 2027 Senior Class Trip was a great success!

Senior Spirit Week!

Senior spirit week occurs the week prior to the senior class trip (Sept. 14-18, 2026).  Spirit Week is a fun tradition filled with themed dress-up days, Senior Convocation, and the Senior vs. School flag football game. Each day of the week seniors dressed up various ways, Monday - Childhood character day, Tuesday - dress up day (for convocation), Wednesday - Jersey Day, Thursday - Throwback Thursday day, and Friday - Scrabble Day (dress as an item with the same first letter of your name - for example Autumn was an astronaut.  (It was a fun week filled with laughter, smiles and class spirit all as they prepared for the senior class trip departure on Sunday.

Junior ACT/SAT Prep

This past Tuesday morning, while Freshmen and Sophomores worked hard on their MAP testing, Juniors met in the chapel to learn about some very helpful ACT/SAT test preparation strategies from Honors students at Andrews University.

Mr. Wright and Mrs. Fusté then walked through the math and reading/writing sections on some practice SAT tests. Remember, students, to take the time and do as many free practice tests as you can to prepare for these (free university tuition anyone?)!

Andrews University also spent some time with the group, reviewing the scholarships they offer to students (based on a combination of their test scores and cumulative GPAs). A lively end to the morning involved correct answers in exchange for Andrews merch.
