Seniors' Night Live

On Sunday evening (April 9, 2023), the senior class presented Seniors' Night Live. It was a fun evening of skits, original music, humor, and more as the seniors presented this show. The senior class did this show to give back to the school, raising $1,189 for the AA worthy student fund! The officers spent a lot of time writing each of the creative skits and songs that each member of the senior class did their part in presenting this fun evening for all. Thank you seniors, and thank you parents of the class for your support throughout these four years of Academy.

Chapels this Week

This week's chapels featured a diverse group of speakers. On Monday, we held a "recap" of our Week of Prayer messages from last week, where students discussed with their pew mates about what impactful things they remembered from them. On Tuesday, we heard from Mrs. Pellegrini, who recounted her experience going frequently to South Bend Zoo one summer and how, like God, some things you have to experience in order to understand what it's like.

Wednesday's chapel talk was given by Pastor Bell, who asked a powerful, crucial question, "Have we not had enough?" and challenged students to heal lest they hurt others. He also held an appeal, in which four students made the decision to get baptized and countless others pledged to rededicate themselves to Him. We know that the angels were lifting songs and praises, just as we were, for the decisions that were made that day.

On Thursday, freshman Ava Trutwein gave the chapel talk about creation and how, just as God took time and care to create us, we should also take the same to approach Him. Finally, on Friday, we heard from Mr. Norton, who spoke about worship and prayer, and particularly urged students to make God the center of worship because without Him, our worship is meaningless.

We'd like to thank the chapel speakers for their impactful messages and also the song leaders who led out in our worship with praise.

AA Uniforms Available from Lands' End

We have renewed our relationship with Lands’ End for uniform needs. More selections for uniforms are now included, such as a button-down shirt, a long-sleeved polo, and a sweater. Click on the option(s) that you would like, then choose the size (kid or adult). Please be mindful that Andrews Academy is not responsible for your orders.

We are working on other jacket options.

Please review the Sourcebook (pgs 79-81) for more information regarding uniforms. Only approved logoed uniform wear is allowed. A solid-color, long sleeved undershirt may be worn under the AA short-sleeved polo (no writing should be visible on the undershirt).
