Senior Convocation
Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Andrews Academy had a special service honoring the senior class and challenging them to live out their class motto, aim, and Bible text throughout the year.
The program included special music, prayers, and the presentation of the senior class banner featuring their motto: “God doesn’t call the prepared; He prepares the called.” Their aim, “Be open and ready to accept God’s calling,” and Ephesians 2:10 provided the foundation for the service.
Mr. Suarez, parent of senior Nito Suarez, shared the message, drawing from memories of the seniors’ younger years to emphasize the importance of friendship and being a good friend to others. He also reminded students that true value is not found in possessions or wealth, but in Jesus.
Class President Caleb Bliven responded by encouraging classmates to remain open and ready to accept God’s calling. Class sponsors Carrie Chao and Steven Atkins formally presented the Senior class, followed by a special charge from Principal Ruben Perez-Schulz.
The event concluded with a reception hosted by the Junior class. We thank them for their hospitality and for helping make this celebration special.
Senior Convocation set an encouraging tone for the year ahead—a year of purpose, growth, service, and faith.

Senior VS School Football!
September 15 was busy day at Andrews Academy. The day started off with an inspiring Senior Convocation and ended on a high note with the Senior vs School Flag Football game.
Many students, parents, faculty and friends gathered around the AA track & field located behind the school to cheer on the flag football game. The girls played an exciting game that led its way into over time. Girls took lead and beat the seniors at the end.
Guys' game started immediately after the girls' game with exciting plays from both teams. The rain held off for the guys to finish the game and the Seniors kept the lead for the win.
Thank you to those who purchased food from the concession stand that was run by PPI volunteers. The proceeds benefited the WORTHY STUDENT FUND.

THANK YOU AU Change Day Participants!
Andrews University hosted their CHANGE DAY on September 10. They included Andrews Academy on their list of places to make a difference. They spent several hours cleaning up the shop area, hanging our banners for Alumni weekend and sorting through storage containers. What a blessing to be part of this day of mission and service.
We look forward to giving back to the community during our community service day this week. We will be going all over Berrien Springs and Andrews University to make a difference.
Galatians 5:13 reminds us to "Serve one another humbly in love." What better way to love a neighbor than to serve unselfishly.

SA RETREAT
A Sabbath filled with Andrews Academy friends is a great way to connect at the beginning of the school year. Our SA officers & sponsors planned a wonderful SA retreat on Saturday September 12. We had over 100 students and faculty in attendance for food, fun and fellowship.
Thank you PPI Parents for volunteering your time in making sure that the students & leaders were well fed.
Thank you Ashley Family for opening your home for us to connect and worship on a Sabbath afternoon for our 2026 SA retreat. Great memories were made!
